Founded in 1993 by the legendary Mr. Badiuzaman Bin Mat Hashim, the company rose from a small 3-man operation in Cheras to become one of Malaysia’s most respected 100% Bumiputera-owned names in the electrical and industrial supply sector.
Through years of dedication, Teknopuri built a strong reputation as a trusted supplier of cables, switchgear, distribution boards, lighting, fans, cable management and earthing systems, serving retailers, contractors
and developers nationwide. The company has forged long-standing partnerships with prestigious international brands and earned consistent recognition, including the Multimillion Dollar Club awards from KDK.
Today, under the leadership of the second generation, Mr. Shafiq Bazli Bin Badiuzaman, the company continues to grow while staying true to its roots. As part of its ongoing expansion, the business now operates as Teknopuri Electrical Sdn. Bhd., established to strengthen its position and serve larger projects nationwide.
Today Teknopuri Electrical operates from its main hub in Cheras, serving both wholesale and retail clients nationwide with the same spirit, strength and service.

I started Teknopuri with nothing more than hard work, faith, and the belief that a Bumiputera company could stand shoulder to shoulder with the biggest players in the industry.In 1983, I was just another worker. But I paid attention, I learned, and I never gave up.
When we opened our doors in 1993 with just 3 team members and a small store in Cheras, we had no glamour, only grit. We focused on electrical and industrial products, always putting service and sincerity at the core of everything we did.
Over the years, we grew. We earned the trust of global brands. We achieved what many thought impossible. We stood tall, as a 100% Bumiputera owned business, in an industry dominated by giants.
Teknopuri was never about chasing numbers. It was about building something real. Something lasting. Something our people could be proud of.

My mission is to take what my father built and elevate it expanding our presence, strengthening our brand, and integrating technology to meet the future head-on. We continue to work hand-in-hand with retailers, contractors, and developers, ensuring that every solution we deliver reflects the trust we’ve earned.
